Winter and rainy seasons are more comfortable to visit this place as the devotees turn out in a moderate number. On festival days like Guru Poornima, Dashera, Srirama Navami, weekends and Summer holidays devotees from all over India come here in a very large number and it will be the busiest at that time. This temple is very busy on Thursday as most of the visitors like to visit this temple on this day as they believe it is a favorite day to Shri Sai.Things to know before visiting this Pilgrim place Devotees can have a darshan of Samadhi from 5 AM till 10 PM every day. Six hundred people at a time can carry prayers inside the temple. The entire temple was constructed with white marble stone. The mortal remains of Shri Sai Baba were kept under the Samadhi. One of his staunch devotees of Shri Sai Baba, Mr.Gopalrao built the present temple in the year 1922. Shri Sai Baba attained eternal bliss in the year 1918.
This great saint used to utter the words 'Sabka Malik Ek' in front of his devotees and used to preach them universal integrity, peace, universal truth of God of all religions.
People used to believe him as an avatar of God. Thousands of people from every corner of India and every day used to visit him in Shirdi at that time to get his blessings. Sai Baba used to serve the poorest of the poor and he sacrificed his entire life for them. From that time onward he started enlightening people with his wit and wisdom. Shri Sai Baba first appeared under a Neem tree when he was 16 years old.
